I feel like the start of all my clothing stories are becoming the same, but this one has a different ending, I promise.
I’ve had this dress for a long time but have very seldom worn it due to pretty much everyone disliking it (Lee says it looks like a dressing gown). I was intending to wear it a lot this summer but guess what happened on this very morning, the first day since buying it all those years ago that I decided to wear it by itself and show it off in all it’s grandma chic glory? I ripped a hole right down the back of it. Lee threw a water bottle to me and as I leaned forward to grab it I heard the fabric tear. I’m not a very large person so this is a pretty rare occurrence for me and I’m still a bit in shock. I’m not overly clumsy and generally even my cheapest and most worn clothes last me years upon years. But there we have it. I think I will try and repair it but it’s not on a seam and it’s a pretty bad rip to be honest so we’ll have to see what I can do to save it.
So anyway, that’s why there aren’t any photos of the back of it. We were in a bit of a hurry to chase the light whilst taking these photos but I’m pretty pleased with them. You might be pleased to hear that this was also captured in video form that will be making it’s way to my youtube channel in the near future.
And remember that I posted every single day during May (and a few days either side…) so have a little catch up on bloglovin!
