The Debenhams Christmas Wishlist

Does anyone else find it really hard to answer the ‘what do you want for Christmas?’ question? I have a December birthday too so I get double the asking at this time of year. There’s no shortage of lovely things around though so it can’t be too hard to put together a wishlist, right?

I was emailed by Debenhams at the start of the month to tell me about the Win Your Wishlist competition where there are eight prizes to be won. It sounded like a fun post (as well as useful for my family for me to think of things I like) and fairly good odds of winning a prize compared to a lot of competitions so I made a little wishlist from their Christmas range and here’s what I would love to put in a Christmas hamper from me to me!

I also want to point out the photo above of some presents I wrapped a couple of years ago and the super adorable gold fox paper. I love wrapping gifts and making them look nice but it also seems a little bit pointless when the paper just gets ripped off and put in recycling.

Dressing Gown  |  Lamp  |  Perfume  |  Scarf  |  Bag  |  Lipstick

Dorothy Perkins Fox Hooded Dressing Gown
Who doesn’t want a super cosy dressing gown to snuggle into on chilly mornings and evenings? I couldn’t be without a dressing gown in the winter and there’s quite the selection at Debenhams. I chose this one because even though you can’t see it in the photo, it has a cute little fox face on the hood. Adorable!

‘Evan’ Tripod Floor Lamp
I’ve been obsessing over the idea of having a nice floor lamp for so long now. But my current issues are that 1. nice ones are expensive and 2. I actually have nowhere to put one right now. But I should be moving soonish so then I will have some more floor space to put things like lovely lamps! I have a major thing for these spotlight style ones that are all the rage right now. They’re just like glamorised photography/filming lights and I love that.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Christmas Gift Set
Flowerbomb was my first proper perfume that I went and chose myself for my 18th birthday and I still love it. I still have the empty bottle because it’s so pretty. This gift set is absolutely gorgeous, I’ve not tried any of the other Flowerbomb products but I bet this body lotion and shower gel are heavenly. I think I’d even have to keep the Christmas tree box as a decoration.

Miss Selfridge Gingham Scarf
I’ve been craving a new scarf lately in colours that I wouldn’t normally go for like oranges and reds and neutrals. I think it’s good to have options with your accessories, it can make an outfit look completely different in such a simple way. This is such a lovely and classic style that I’m sure it would last for years upon years.

Principles by Ben de Lisi Patent Clutch Bag
You can never have too many bags, right? This super deep navy patent clutch is so simple but so beautiful. It would be perfect to go with Christmas and New Year party outfits. I love the touch of gold to add some shimmer and glamour.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick

Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ll probably know that Debenhams now stock Kat Von D makeup. I haven’t been lucky enough to try anything yet but when I go to London in a couple of weeks I will be eyeing up everything at the Oxford Street store. I love pretty much all the shades that Studded Kiss comes in, so many lovely deep colours!

What’s on your wishlist this year? I’d love to know!
