You may have seen my vlog exploring Cornwall already and know that I recently went there for a few days so I also wanted to share some photos that I took. We found some lovely beaches, I was a little surprised by how nice the coast was. For some reason, I’d imagined just long flat sandy beaches but they’re actually quite similar to the ones in West Wales which was nice.
We travelled down via the West coast of Cornwall to see Tintagel, Trebarwith, Port Isaac and to stop in Newquay for some food before heading down to St. Ives. The next day was heading down to Lizard Point where Lee started a coastal walk around to Kynance Cove whilst me and my mum got lunch and looked at the lighthouse. We ended the day by going to see St. Michael’s Mount but it was far too windy and chilly to walk over to it so we drove around to see Mousehole instead. On Saturday we had a wander around St. Ives in the morning and then me and Lee went down to the Minack Theatre and over to Land’s End. Sunday was spent at the Eden Project and then Monday we went home via Mevagissey, Fowey, Polperro and Looe.
As usual, we stayed in a place we found on Airbnb (you can get £30 off a £55+ trip by signing up with my link!). It was a great location right in St. Ives which was lovely as we tend to go for cheaper places in the country so it made a nice change!
I hope you like the photos, and I’d love to know what your favourite part of Cornwall is if you’ve been or if you have any posts about it!
