Products I’m Loving – April Favourites | Video

april favourites nyx makeup review

I haven’t done a favourites post or video for quite a while but there have been a few things that I’ve enjoyed this month so I thought I would gather them up and tell you about them! It’s mostly products with a few other things at the end. I’d love to know what your current favourites are, anything you’ve been loving through April?

Yes To Tomatoes Toner

I’ve definitely mentioned this in previous favourites but I’m still loving it! I do find it a little too harsh on my sensitive skin to use every day but it really calms my spots. Sometimes I’ll just dab a bit of it directly onto spots instead of using it allover.

Ladival Suncream

A very new discovery for me. Before this one, I hadn’t ever used a more pricey sun cream but if they all feel as good as this one does then you can consider me converted! It sits nicely under my makeup and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t make me look any shinier or feel greasy. Love!

John Frieda Volumising In Shower Treatment (it has 1/3 off!)

I don’t think I had used an in shower treatment before for styling purposes and I love it because it somehow seems less effort. After using this I also use a mousse once I’m out of the shower for some extra oomph. I also love that it recommends not to use it with every wash because I hate using heat on my hair so not having to blow dry all the time is perfect!

Nyx Liquid Suede (shade Soft Spoken)

I love the colour of this but not only is it beautiful, it wears really well too. I’m super impressed with this because even when I eat and drink and it comes off a little, if I rub my lips together then it just smudges back into place as if it were a lip balm. It feels lovely and I’m definitely going to be perusing the other shades!

Nyx Full Throttle Palette (shade Take Over Control)

Another Nyx product that I’m fully impressed with. Love the colours and they last. They’re not the most pigmented eyeshadows ever but for the price I think they’re fab and they’re definitely buildable. I haven’t tried them wet yet but if you wanted more pigment that could be the way to go. I also really like the packaging. I didn’t at first because it reminded me too much of my emo kid life with studs everywhere. But it’s really grown on me and it’s a great size for taking away with me!

Prison Break

Has anyone else been watching the new season of Prison Break? I’m really enjoying it so far. As cheesy and somewhat predictable as it is, it’s one of those shows that just keeps me wanting to watch more!
