When browsing for vegan brownies, I found this recipe from Jamie Oliver but I wanted to bake them as Christmas presents so I wanted to make them a bit more festive so I just added in a few things. Ingredients 5 tablespoons sunflower oil (plus some for greasing the tin) 200g Orange dark chocolate (I use this one from Tesco) 170g self-raising flour 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder 180g caster sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 230ml dairy-free milk (I used oat milk) 100g pecan nuts I happened to have a bag of Gingerbread Topper from Wholeplus so I used that to…
I love ice lollies and I picked up an ice lolly mould in Ikea recently so I just had to make my own. I decided to be a bit adventurous and go for milk pops. Not something I had made before but I’m so glad I did. It’s so easy and so so delicious, I made a bit too much for the mould that I have so I used the extra mixture to make some ice cream, which is also amazing! So here’s my super easy strawberry milk pop recipe and how I made a beautifully creamy no churn ice…
I’d never made a crumble before but Marie suggested it and I said we should film it. So that’s what happened. We also had several glasses of prosecco whilst doing so. Here’s the recipe that we used, it’s probably good if you actually follow it. You can find all my posts for the month in the everydayMay tag. Bloglovin | Youtube | Instagram | Twitter
I am completely obsessed with cookies lately. I basically can’t go to the supermarket without picking up a packet. It’s a problem, really. They’re just so damn good. So I decided to make my own, I like to think they’re healthier because they have oats in but deep down I know that’s a lie because there’s also a copious amount of chocolate in them. It’s Easter soon though, chocolate is mandatory at Easter time, right? It’s also Mother’s Day today and I’m sure she would appreciate a nice batch of lovingly baked cookies. Any excuse will do. Anyway, these aren’t…
I’m really rather pleased with how these turned out as I wasn’t even sure if I was going to like them, having never tried pumpkin before. But I figured in cake form was the safest way to try it out. The verdict from everyone that has tried them has probably been the best I’ve received so I think that proves they’re pretty darn yummy! I added in white chocolate chips because I was a little afraid it wouldn’t quite be sweet enough for me but these are completely optional. If you like these cakes you’ll probably also like my Anti-Valentines cupcakes! INGREDIENTS…
I enjoy having a nice smoothie quite regularly, I think of it as an easy way to get some fruit and nutrients into myself as I’m not a fan of cooking. I don’t really follow recipes when I make smoothies, I kind of just chuck stuff in the blender until it looks about the right amount. That being said, I do mostly put in the same things, sometimes I just switch up the fruit depending on what’s already there. So here’s an approximate recipe for this delicious strawberry smoothie. Ingredients 1/3 punnet of strawberries 1 banana (I always put in…
