Spectrum Collections Cardiff Blogger Event

Last week I went along to the Spectrum event in Cardiff. It was only a few weeks ago that I discovered they’re a Welsh company and based in Barry. Cardiff, and Wales as a whole have some amazing brands and companies, but that’s a story for a different post I think! We were greeted with glasses of glittery pink prosecco and displays of their gorgeous brushes. Also at the event was Candy Kittens providing delicious sweets, Nails Inc. to paint our nails (I went for Porchester Square, apparently the most popular shade!), drinks from Dirty Martini and amazing food from Milgi’s.…

New Glasses on a Budget

I really like getting new glasses. When something is on your face basically all day every day it can be easy to get bored of looking at the same frames all the time. So when PerfectGlasses.co.uk contacted me to collaborate, I happily accepted. It’s always interesting to try out more budget friendly options to see if there’s much or any difference compared to more expensive and branded ones you can find on the high street. As well as normal glasses, I also chose some prescription sunglasses, which, as you’ll know if you’re a glasses wearer, is amazing. I tend to…

Feeling Fancy in Floral Embroidery | OOTD

Frolicking in the forest in this gorgeous embroidered floral dress was pretty fabulous. To keep it casual I just wore my vans for a nice easy stroll. It was so nice to see all the bluebells in the woods. This was a place that I hadn’t been to before either so it was even more exciting! This dress has the same embroidered flowers as the top in this outfit post. I did pin the straps to be a bit thinner as it suits my shoulders more. I think this will be really cute in the summer. This day was particularly…

The Denim Jacket OOTD

This is the first of a few outfits that Marie shot for me at Kew Gardens. It’s possibly also my favourite one. If you’ve read my Asos wishlist post then you might recognise this dress and remember I mentioned this photo as an inspiration pic and this is kind of my take on it. Unfortunately, I’ll never be as cool as Claire but I’ll just keep on trying. I love this denim jacket. I didn’t own one until I bought one in a charity shop for a 90s themed fancy dress party in uni. After a while of never wearing it,…

North Wales Adventures in Snowdonia

A few weeks ago we decided to head back to North Wales and see some of the things that we hadn’t visited on our last couple of trips. The main things on the agenda were the Glyders and Dinorwic quarry. On the way up we stopped at Betws-y-Coed to see the Fairy Glen. This one was what I had imagined the one in the Isle of Skye to look like. It was beautiful. I’m not much of a mountain climber (I think most of the time looking at the mountains is better than looking from them) but Glyder Fawr was…
