I wanted to share some photos that I took a little while ago but didn’t get round to posting. Some are from a trip to Oxford and London whilst wandering around and the others are from a stroll in the Brecon Beacons, not far from where I started this vlog.

I’ve grown up in South Wales where I have the luxury of being surrounded by countryside with rolling hills and glistening lakes, all whilst being less than 30 minutes from the capital and pretty much everything you could want from a city. It’s basically the best of both worlds and I love it! So I decided it would be fun to weigh up the pros and cons to both the city and the countryside to go along with this photo diary.

I think most of the benefits and disadvantages of each are quite obvious but these are the ones that are most relevant to me and how I see each one.

City                                                                                       Country

Pros Cons Pros Cons
So much to do! People, everywhere Quiet and relaxing Can take ages to get places
Pretty lights at night Pollution Cute wildlife Bugs!
Shopping is easy Noisy Lovely scenery Can be lonely
Public transport More expensive Fresh air Less things to do
More jobs/opportunities Tiring Can exercise in nature Bad WiFi

I’d love to know what you would add to this list! And whether you prefer the city or the country, leave me a comment.
