Here’s a little Isle of Skye photo diary from last month. I’ve been back from Skye for a little while but I’ve been putting off going through all my photos because there are so many. I wanted to share a few of my very favourite ones to show you some of the island. Whilst we were there I pretty much fell in love with the place. We had been there twice before but only on day trips whilst in the Highlands. It was so nice being on a magical little island that despite it’s size has so many amazing and varying things.
The main places shown in the photos are Torrin (the village we stayed in), the Fairy Pools, The Quiraing, Talisker Bay and a couple from around Storr and Fairy Glen. I have four different vlogs already uploaded that show more of all the places we went if you want to see some more scenery. You can also see some in the background of my parka lookbook (though that was near Torridon, not actually on Skye).
One thing that I regret not doing on this trip is taking more photos on film (something I’m now making a goal for this year) because they’re always my favourite to look back at. I would shoot film all the time if I could afford endless amounts of film and developing. I hope you enjoy the photos anyway, it’s nice to have the memories even if they’re not shown in the best quality. If you want to see more landscape photos from Scotland then definitely take a look at Lee’s instagram. He’s been posting photos since we were there!
If you’ve ever been to the Isle of Skye then I’d love to know your favourite part of it! I’m sure we’ll be heading back there before long so let me know if you have any recommendations.
