I think the most worn items can reveal a lot about a person, so I decided to reveal mine. What do you think they say about me? What I found really funny was that I didn’t even notice until I went to photograph the items that they’re all black (and grey). I think that sums me up best!
Black Boots
I can’t be without a pair of ankle boots and black just goes with everything. I had a brown pair for a while and loved them (I still do but they’re a bit worse for wear) but my next pair I went back to black. You just can’t go wrong with a nice pair of boots, and in Britain they’re wearable all year round so what’s not to love? This pair are a new addition from Dorothy Perkins after I decided that I needed a pointy pair.
Knitted Jumper
I have a lot of jumpers, like A LOT, but I always come back to this one, I love that it’s knitted so has some texture, I love that it’s grey marl – pretty much my favourite colour clothing, I love that it’s soft and slouchy and oversized, and I love that it used to be my boyfriend’s.
Rucksack
Another thing that I keep coming back to is my Primark faux leather backpack. I’ve had a lot of bags but this one is just so useful. I can fit pretty much anything I need in it, it looks cute and as it’s not a handbag it doesn’t get in the way and is easy to carry around. I have recently bought a new handbag (see my sales haul!) that I adore but it’s definitely not as practical so I’m sure there will still be occasions that I go back to this one.
Black Jeans
I’m definitely a black jeans girl not a blue jeans girl. Black is just so much easier to wear and looks more put together in my opinion. My pair of choice in particular are the Primark super high waist skinny jeans. They’re basically Joni jeans but with a quarter of the price tag and they fit me better.
Leather Jacket
Faux leather, I might add. It’s another of those year round pieces that you can just throw on with pretty much anything and your outfit instantly looks cooler. Mine is from River Island a few years ago and despite not being real leather, it’s worn so well and just gets comfier with each wear.
