I think the Nude Bronze Eyes Uncovered is more of a direct dupe for the original naked palette but the shades are also very similar to the Naked 2 and that’s the palette that I happen to have. I’ve compared the four most similar looking shades based on how they look in the palette. I used Naked 2 on one eye and Eyes Uncovered on the other and didn’t use any primer.
My very first thought when I did this was that I hadn’t realised just how warm toned the Nude Bronze palette is, which is something I tend to shy away from as I have a cool skin tone. But when compared next to the Naked 2 it’s really quite obvious that though the shades are very similar in colour the undertone is very different.
Applying the eyeshadows is lovely in both instances. The lighter shades seem more pigmented in the Naked 2 but the darker shades seem more pigmented in the Nude Bronze so that evens out. The obvious difference between these two is that Urban Decay provide a few more shades, but apart from Blackout, there aren’t really any that I would miss if I had to solely use the Collection palette.
As far as wearability goes, I’m actually super impressed with both, I’ll admit that I ended up sleeping with them on as I didn’t wear any other makeup so I forgot that I was wearing any and didn’t take it off and in the morning they both still looked the same, how is that even possible? Basically, Nude Bronze is a really great palette considering the price so if you haven’t got the extra cash then stick with the Collection range, they’re such a great value brand.
