I’ve spoken before about my fear of wearing pattern, but it somehow seems so much easier when it’s in monochrome. I mean look, I’m wearing a patterned shirt AND patterned tights! This outfit is a bit of a blast from the past for me as I wore this shirt and shorts combo to my end of year exhibition in my second year of uni (that was in 2012, and before I just worked that out I hadn’t realised just how long it’s been…).
The new addition to the outfit is the tights. Now I don’t know about you but compression wear isn’t something I’m all too familiar with, but when I was contacted by ITEM m6 I became very intrigued. Not only do these adorable tights look great but they also have compression technology to basically suck in all the lumps and bumps. Genius.
I have to admit that these are not as easy to get on and off as your average pair of tights, but it’s definitely worth the extra effort. I’m one of those people that hates having tight waistbands across their stomach so I always roll my tights down to my hips – I didn’t need to do that with these. Despite the compression in them, because there isn’t a narrow horrible waistband at the top, they’re just really comfortable to wear, I’m in love. And guess what? I’ve got a little giveaway for you to be able to win a pair of these tights too! All the details are below.
If you’re wondering why I have hearts on my face then you should probably go and check out my last post. I just loved the makeup so much that I didn’t want to take it off when I went to take these photos. So make sure you go and watch my video tutorial to see how I created the look!
