I remember when I was in school a lot of people wondered why lots of girls chose to wear a skirt and tights instead of trousers in the winter. The answer being that most tights are warmer than the school trousers we were allowed to wear. Perhaps it’s this that sparked my love for cute skirts and dresses in autumn and winter.
If you’re not convinced about this then you need to try out the Casual Winter Tights from Item m6. I’ve worn them a few times now for days spent wandering around outside in the chilly British air and at no point did I regret it. Winter tights I’ve had in the past have included those fleece lined ones that although are soft and cosy, they always slipped down and the fleece lining would often disintegrate. Not ideal.
However, these tights are not fleece lined, they have the classic Medi compression technology which means they don’t fall down and there’s none of that added bulk, leaving you with a lovely flattering silhouette. Another thing I love about these tights is that they come in two different lengths. Why don’t all tights come in different lengths?! They fit me like a glove and it’s amazing. If you’d like your own pair of these tights (they come in three colours!) then make sure you enter the giveaway below!
If you’re wondering about the dress I’m wearing, it is actually a top that was my boyfriend’s. He was going to sell it but I nabbed it instead, it’s just so cosy and I can just about get away with wearing it as a dress (I wore a bodycon skirt underneath though, just in case). I just love the button details and I’m going to be slouching around in this all season.
