I think this might be the first time that I’ve done outfit photos in a street, I do live in a rather small town and the weather wasn’t the best so there weren’t all that many people around but the few that did pass were all very polite and other than some children on the other side of the road, I didn’t even get any funny looks. All in all, it was a rather positive experience!
White Shirt/Blouse* £3.95 – Dresslink | Long Collar Necklace* £1.52 – Dresslink | Jumper – Forever 21 | Printed Harem Trousers* £5.12 – Dresslink | Black Cork Wedge Sandals – New Look (old) | Hairclip – Asda (prices correct at time of publishing)
Printed trousers are a fabulous choice for this season and these ones are made of a linen type of fabric so I know they will be perfect for warmer days. They would be super easy to dress up or down, I think I went somewhere in between with this look but I’ve also worn the trousers with my black Toms for a comfy and casual outfit.
For those not familiar with Dresslink, the delivery took 3 weeks with the tracked option. Which I don’t think is too bad considering it comes from Asia but just keep this in mind if you’re wanting something for a specific event! Another thing I would always recommend doing when ordering from Asian brands is to check your measurements against the sizing chart as usually they run much smaller than Western sizes. I got a medium in both the blouse and the trousers and am a UK size 8.
I do wish I had gotten a larger size in the shirt as I was expecting it to be oversized which is why I sized down but it still fits so it’s all good! The quality of the items is pretty good considering the price, it’s definitely comparable to Primark.
Make sure you check out my Spring Wishlist post with items from Dresslink.
