The Sky Garden London

I went to the Sky Garden in London recently after wanting to go for a while but always forgetting to book tickets. So we finally went, and after a very sunny and warm weekend it turned cloudy and a little drizzly which made for much softer lighting so that was nice. I also think that it might turn into a bit of a greenhouse when it’s sunny so I’m quite glad about the change in weather.

We went at 4.30 and you’re allocated an hour and a half before you’re supposed to leave but I don’t really see how they regulate that. We ended up staying for around 45 minutes as although it was pretty cool there wasn’t really that much to do once you’ve walked around it all. We were a little disappointed by the ‘garden’ aspect of it, I kind of thought it was going to be more of a botanical garden but it’s pretty much just two sides of greenery. It is a really nice place and considering it’s free I would say it’s worth a visit, especially if you like views across cities, but I wouldn’t say it’s a 100% must do thing. As good as it was, I was just expecting it to be even better.

Have you been to the Sky Garden? I’d love to know what you thought!
