I found this rather splendid white wall recently. I don’t know if it’s just me but I hate shooting in greenery, I may be biased because my least favourite colour is green but there’s something about outfit photos in the garden that I really can’t get on board with (I know, I do have some, but no one’s perfect). The light on this morning also happened to be rather lovely and I think mixed with the neutral background it makes for some rather chic photos if I do say so myself, yes drainpipes can be chic.

I’ve had this shirt for a few years and I’ve fallen back in love with it recently, it started to annoy me at one point because the collar has a mind of its own sometimes but just look at the texture and the colour, how could I stay mad? I was a little bit surprised at how well it goes with this lovely wool houndstooth skirt if I’m honest as I thought the textures might make it look a bit odd but I’m actually loving this outfit, it makes me feel festive!
