You might have noticed that I went to Scotland recently (there is a vlog and a photo diary coming soon) and if you follow me on snapchat (hollysparkly) you’ll have seen that this was where I spent the hottest day of the year. I have to admit, the walk up to the Fairy Pools was a bit gross and horrible in the heat (it’s not a long or difficult walk, I just hate hot weather), but when we got to the top and found a beautiful spot that no one else had claimed, dipping my toes in the cool water was completely worth it.

I’ve had these shorts for a while now but the elasticated waist and poofiness always throws me off and I struggle to find something that doesn’t make it look like I’m wearing something made for children. I’d like to think I managed it with this outfit, just about.

Sneaky photo of Lee that he will probably disapprove of but I’m putting it in anyway.
