This outfit is from my birthday back in December. I’m really missing seeing snow around so I’ve been reminiscing about our snowy adventures. This was towards the end of the Brecon Beacons snow days and it was beautiful.
Of course, I wore my now very trusted Regatta Brienna jacket*, it’s been my favourite all winter because it’s so practical but also looks pretty cute with its mustard colour and faux fur lining (it comes in a couple of different colours too if yellow isn’t your thing). I’m not normally so co-ordinated with my outfits as this, it was actually just a coincidence.
I wore this Motel dress that everyone loves with a jumper over the top for warmth and then my Timberlands because again, I think they’re the epitome of being practical whilst still looking like you’ve styled an outfit. Adding my little beret to keep my head warm, I think it tops off the outfit really nicely. I actually got my beret a while ago from Topshop, it was reduced to £3 in the sale and then when I got to the till it was reduced even more to just £1! One of the best £1’s I’ve ever spent.
If you’ve seen my pink furry coat outfit then you’ll already be aware that I’m loving pops of colour against black outfits and snow. As impractical as it can be, snow really does make everything look beautiful. We seem to be getting much better equipped for it as well with snow plows actually clearing the roads so you can still get about.
In quite the contrast, I’m heading to Lanzarote next week for some sunshine and I’m actually a bit concerned that I’ve forgotten how to dress for warm weather… Keep an eye on my instagram to see how I get on (and go ahead and follow if you’re not already!
Are you missing the snow too? Or do you live further north than I do and you’re sick of it?
