You may or may not know how much I love snow. Unexpectedly waking up on Sunday morning to snow still falling and blankets of white everywhere basically turned me into a little kid. I demanded Lee get up and ready so we could go and play in it. It snowed continuously all day, I don’t think I’ve seen snow fall for that long possibly ever.
Luckily I had my new coat and wellies with me! I’ve worn this coat pretty much non stop since I got it and the wellies have been super handy in this recent weather. I’ve been wanting a yellow raincoat for a while so when I spotted this one from Regatta I knew I had to have it! Considering I live in Wales and often explore the outdoors, I’ve never had a super practical coat. I have a Barbour which is waterproof but doesn’t have a hood and is quite heavy to wear whilst walking. This coat is honestly perfect, it’s cosy and warm whilst being lightweight enough to just throw on. The pop of colour looks fab with my otherwise mostly black wardrobe and I’m loving it against the snowy backdrops.
Wellies are another thing that I’ve been meaning to purchase for the longest time. I’ve been using my mum’s for the longest time which are fine but a size too big and also not entirely waterproof. So this adorable pair from Crocs ticks all the right boxes. I’m so happy to have some practical clothing that also looks really nice.
