I’ve wanted to take outfit photos on the front steps of a museum for a really long time. Specifically, the Met steps in New York. But alas, I live in Wales so Cardiff museum will have to do (and to be fair I imagine it’s a lot less busy than the Met and thus easier to take photos). It’s the colour of the stone and the grand pillars that I love. I’m going to make the effort to do more photos here in the future.

I felt like my monochromatic, somewhat tailored outfit suited this space. We did also wander around inside the museum and took some photos and inspiration for this post that I wrote for Art UK. Recently (specifically since my last lookbook video), I’ve had a few people comment on my monochromatic style. And honestly, it’s not even something that I notice. I find myself naturally gravitating to monochrome outfits, which to be fair is pretty easy when half your wardrobe is black. Thinking about how much colour and pattern I used to wear as a child and in my early teens (and late teens too really) it’s kind of odd how I’ve gradually moved away from it. I might do a post on how I dressed when I was younger if anyone would be interested in that? I’ll try and dig up some old photos!
