Everyone has been obsessing over fishnet tights lately. I used to wear them a lot as a teenager (and a variety of other types of patterned tights) so it’s funny how huge the trend has suddenly become. I don’t own any ripped jeans to even attempt the instagram look so I decided to mix it up and go for a more patterned fishnet style too.
These adorable socks that I’m wearing are the Yacht Club Charm socks from Item m6. I’m actually loving the navy and gold combination. Pairing socks over your fishnet tights is a great way to balance out wearing a short dress with them. These kept my feet warm whilst walking around and admiring the boats at Gloucester Docks. They come in red and lavender too so I think they would make a great ‘socks with sandals’ outfit . Despite it still being a bit cold out, I wanted to fast forward this outfit into spring a bit so I added this beautiful scarf that is the epitome of spring to me. It’s lightweight and it’s covered in a pretty flower print.
I don’t think I’ve spoken about my hair yet. I chopped the front to make it all into a bob and then swished it over to a side parting. I’m not sure about the parting to be honest. I don’t mind it in real life but I’m not loving it in photos. I’d love to know if you think it suits me! It doesn’t help that it got a little bit rained on just before these photos.
