Burgundy scarf* – Zaful | Flared sleeve jumper* – Zaful | Wide leg trousers* – Zaful | T-bar shoes – old |
This winter has been really mild, hasn’t it? I went out to take these photos with no coat (and no socks!) and it took almost an hour for me to start feeling a little chilly. I will say that this jumper and scarf are pretty toasty though, it was only really my toes that were getting nippy.
I haven’t worn trousers like this since I was in year 7 or 8 in school. I think that’s a sign of age maturity, that I left school long enough ago that I don’t mind (and am actually rather enjoying) wearing trousers like this again…the quarter-life crisis hits us in odd ways.
I really like this outfit, it’s cosy and warm up top but paired with trousers and cute shoes it’s quite work appropriate. I’ve lived in skinny jeans/leggings/jeggings since I was a teenager so it feels good to step out of my comfort zone a little and change things around and still feel good. And can we also talk about how these trousers are the right length on me? I think they’re supposed to be slightly more cropped but as I mentioned in this post, that’s the joy of Asian sizing. They’re often made to fit shorter people better.
You’ll have seen that I’ve been wearing this scarf quite a lot already if you watched my vlogmas videos. I’d been wanting one in this colour or a rust kind of shade so was pretty pleased to find this one. I’m quite the fan of really big scarves.
