Last week I went along to the Spectrum event in Cardiff. It was only a few weeks ago that I discovered they’re a Welsh company and based in Barry. Cardiff, and Wales as a whole have some amazing brands and companies, but that’s a story for a different post I think! We were greeted with glasses of glittery pink prosecco and displays of their gorgeous brushes. Also at the event was Candy Kittens providing delicious sweets, Nails Inc. to paint our nails (I went for Porchester Square, apparently the most popular shade!), drinks from Dirty Martini and amazing food from Milgi’s.…

Festoon Lighting* | VELUX Blinds | Zara Linen Bedding | Wood and Metal Bed Frame | West Elm Wool Rug | Moon Phase Print* | West Elm Pop Up Coffee Table I have a little bit of a love/hate relationship with interior design and styling at the moment. I adore it and always have since my mum was an interior designer. But it also really frustrates me that I can’t afford the fancy and lovely items I’d like, and even if I could I don’t have my own home to put them in. Stratford Upon Avon is a place that I’ve been wanting to visit for many years. I’m not sure why it took so long but we finally made a day trip over there. We met up with Marie there as it’s about halfway between where we all were. It was a lovely sunny day but still pretty cold so after a little bit of wandering and photo-taking, we decided to go to the butterfly farm. I was very apprehensive because the thought of insects flying at me terrifies me but the others assured me it would be fine and they probably…
See what I got up to on a day in London wandering around Kew Gardens and taking lots of floral photos. You can see some more of the photos we took on Marie and Abby’s instagrams/websites, links are below! I’ve also included the snaps that I took on 35mm film. I’m a bit sad that we didn’t get time to look around all of the gardens. The tree top canopy walk was closed as well which was one of the things that I was looking forward to the most. We were planning to go up to the lake but our…
Hay on Wye is probably one of my very favourite places. It’s always so calming (even when the festival is on) and there’s always something to do (even when nothing is on). If you’ve been then you’ll probably understand what I mean. My two favourite places there are The Old Electric Shop and Richard Booth’s bookshop. On this day trip, I decided to take some photos on 35mm film. I did want this post to be only film photos but alas there were a couple of things I wanted to share that I couldn’t take on film for one reason or…
