If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter then you probably would have noticed that I’ve been in Scotland recently. If you’ve been following for a while then you’ll know we tend to head to the Highlands every January (and also last summer!). This year we went up to the Isle of Skye, but there’ll be more on that in another post. On our way back south we stopped at New Lanark for the weekend to break up the 13-hour drive home and learn about the world heritage site. Having grown up going to places like the St. Fagans National…
I wanted to share some photos that I took a little while ago but didn’t get round to posting. Some are from a trip to Oxford and London whilst wandering around and the others are from a stroll in the Brecon Beacons, not far from where I started this vlog. I’ve grown up in South Wales where I have the luxury of being surrounded by countryside with rolling hills and glistening lakes, all whilst being less than 30 minutes from the capital and pretty much everything you could want from a city. It’s basically the best of both worlds and…
These tips may not be anything new but I’m currently planning what I’m going to be taking on my holiday to the Scottish Highlands (yes, again) and I thought it might be helpful to turn my thoughts and plans into a post and a video (watch below)! This is mostly aimed at the sort of trip where you might be outside a lot, i.e. hiking or skiing or something as that is what my holiday is (hiking, not skiing unfortunately) but I’m sure it will mostly apply to a winter city break as well. If you want to see what…

As I’m writing this (the night before this is published) I’ve actually just gotten back from another day trip to Pembroke but I have even less photos from today as I was mostly driving around so I doubt I’ll have a post on that. Perhaps I should do an end of year collective post of all the random photos from…
Exploring the Pembrokeshire coast in West Wales. We went to St Govan’s Chapel, Marloes sands, The Green Bridge of Wales and stayed in Milford Haven Marina with a little tour of the apartment we stayed in and a bit of Rhossili at the end. Bloglovin | Youtube | Instagram | Twitter
A summer vacation in the Scottish Highlands, exploring the mountains around Glen Coe and the Isle of Skye including the Fairy Pools, Old Man of Storr and a little visit to Glenfinnan Viaduct. We also went to the town my grandfather grew up in and had a wander around Edinburgh and Glasgow. I separated the videos into two parts to make it a bit easier to watch if you don’t have half an hour spare! If you liked these videos then make sure you have a watch of my winter in Scotland vlog and my trip to Snowdonia. Bloglovin |…
