It was Lee that made me aware of Finisterre. If you’re looking for that mix of practical and stylish clothing then Finisterre is for you. I mentioned them in my gift guide for ethical fashion and jewellery. They’re a clothing brand based in Cornwall:
Born over a decade ago from the needs of hardy British surfers, Finisterre designs functional and sustainable product for those that share a love of the sea.
The range of cosy jumpers is enough to fall in love. I have their Mistral waterproof jacket (which I’m wearing in these photos) and I love it. I haven’t taken it on an adventure yet but for walking to work in the rain it’s been amazing! Lee’s favourite jumper is from Finisterre (also worn in the photos), he wears it all the time and it still looks good new. He’s also got some of their socks and recently bought the Nebulas jacket which is super cosy.
They’re a certified B Corp, striving to make the world a better place. On sustainability they say:
For over 15 years we’ve made hardy products that are fit for purpose and cause as little environmental impact as possible. Sustainability is a part of who we are, it’s our way of life. It’s not PR, it’s not good marketing, it’s in our DNA. From farm, to factory, to Finisterre; we are proud to do things differently.
Please note that this post is not sponsored or requested in any way. All items have been purchased myself/by Lee. I just wanted to share an ethical brand that we love.
I’d never heard of this brand before but that waterproof jacket is fantastic, I love the color and it looks great on you!
Thanks so much, I love it too!
