This post is not sponsored but the clothing from Synergy Organic was gifted to feature on my Instagram. I was not asked to write this blog post as part of the collaboration, I just wanted to share here as well. Affiliate links are used, marked with *.
I wanted to do a #StayHome shoot with these clothes as I never do outfit photos inside and the house I live in at the moment is quite nice. So I made the most of not being able to go anywhere whilst in lockdown and took these with Lee.
About Synergy Organic Clothing
* started after the founder, Kate Fisher, was returned from a trip to Nepal and started to design clothes inspired by her experience. Based in California, the company grew and they began focusing on making eco-conscious clothing.
“At the core, Synergy is not only committed to creating clothing with a minimal environmental impact, but also empowering men and women through ethical employment practices.”
Their clothing is made with GOTS certified organic cotton and constructed in a Fairtrade certified factory with low impact dyes. Synergy also became a Certified B Corporation in 2018.
You can find out more about the brand and their policies on their sustainability and ethics page.
Considering all of their sustainable attributes, Synergy Clothing is very reasonably priced. They also have 30% off at the moment if you use the code UNITEDBYEARTH, and a tree will be planted for every order made. Their packaging is also labelled as biodegradable.
These are the pieces that I chose from the site, the fabric of each item feels great. Everything I got looks well made. Whilst I can’t vouch for the longevity as I only received them recently, I’ve hand washed them all (as advised) and they all came out looking perfect.
Onward Jumpsuit*
When I saw this jumpsuit on the website, I just fell in love. I’d been wanting a jumpsuit for a while because they’re so easy to make an outfit. This one is super comfortable and the lightweight fabric makes it perfect for warmer days. I’m in between sizes so went up in this so that it would be a bit looser. I’m so obsessed with it that I wore it three days in a row. I can see it working as an autumn piece as well with a black turtle neck top underneath and boots. The only addition I would make is to add pockets, but we could say that about most clothes!
Rhythm Bra
I want the Rhythm bra as I only have one sports bra. Now that I’ve become someone that actually exercises, this isn’t ideal. So I popped this on the list. It doesn’t have much support and is really just a cute crop top. However, I’ve worn it for jogging and it works perfectly fine for my small-average sized chest. I’d definitely recommend it for things like yoga though. I like the detail of the straps at the back. Opposite to the jumpsuit, I went for the smaller size in this to make sure it fit snugly.
Iconic Tee*
You can’t go wrong with a good basic tee, can you? I went for the Adobe Rose colour as I don’t have anything in that shade. It’s really pretty and I was very pleased to discover that despite the light colour, it doesn’t show up a dark coloured bra underneath as much as you’d think. The colour is a little bit too close to my skin tone but if I get a bit of a tan through the summer (or fake one) I think it’ll look great. I went for a size S in this and it fits just how I wanted it to. Perfect for an effortless t-shirt and jeans look.
Onyx Tee
Another plain tee, I know. But this one has a cute knot detail at the front and the colour is just beautiful. It’s the same colour as the jumpsuit and as my mum put it “it’s just the right shade”. As well as being great for day to day, I thought this would be perfect for when I go running as it’s a little bit longer in the back so goes nicely with leggings. This seems to run larger than the Iconic Tee as I got this in an XS but it fits about the same. The pink colour that this comes in also looks super cute!
So that’s my overview of Synergy Organic Clothing and my first impressions of the items I got from them. I can see myself wearing these pieces for a long time. I’d definitely go and have a browse if I were you!
