I never thought that I would succumb to mom jeans, but alas, here I am. The comfort is obviously something that I’ve always been on board with, but I never thought that the style would suit me. I was right in a lot of cases, I’ve tried on quite a lot of pairs in the last year until I finally went for the Asos Farleigh jeans. I don’t know exactly how the fit is different on these jeans to all the others I tried from various brands but these are exactly what I had been wanting.
I did have to exchange them a couple of times because the first pair had a broken belt loop and the second pair fit a lot tighter, third time lucky though as they were just right. Except for the rectangle marks on the right leg, they really bother me but were on all three of the pairs I tried so I’m just ignoring it.
You might have seen this cardigan in my outfits from Canada, I’m still cosying up in it when the sun decides to hide away. Another new item that I’m wearing non-stop is these shoes*. They’re from Hey Dude who has a really cool ethos “to provide comfortable, lightweight and durable footwear for all”. These are now my go-to shoes. I walk to and from work most days for about 40 minutes each way so comfort is my main priority tbh. These shoes are honestly like wearing slippers. Fashionable, durable, slippers. I love it. All in all, I’m basically obsessed with this outfit. We took these photos on the day that we were heading home from North Wales. We got to Pen y Pass around an hour after sunrise and luckily there was still some lovely mist floating around.
